Setting up your Fastfender
Thread the correct size rope throught the bottom of the Fastfender, pulling one end to the cleat and pulling the other end down through the serrations. Now your Fastfender is ready to be used!
Adjust the height of your fender
Simply adjust the fender in height by using the integrated rope cleat.
Pull the rope slightly so the rope is released from the cleat as depicted in the first two images. Now you can adjust your fender to the required height. Once the fender is positioned, simply guide the rope back into the cleat. That is it!
Secure your fender
To secure the fender, tie a half knot or figure-eight on the end of the rope.
Easy fender stowage
The Fastfender also helps in stowing your fender. Raise the fender, inside or outside the boat and tighten the rope. The fenders will now hang in their place until ready to be used.

We don't have to adjust fender heights very often, but will just undo the knot at the bottom if we need to shorten or lengthen the rope. Just like the demonstration video shows. I have had other types that were junk. These work! I have 1 inch rails and the 25 seemed a little tight at first but in actual use there is no size issue. I would not go with the larger size as some suggest for 1 inch rails.
